Anhui Tianda Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is located in the Tianchang Chemical Industry Park, Anhui Province, within one hour's drive of Nanjing. The park forms part of the Wanjiang City Belt industrial transfer demonstration zone and is known as the eastern gateway of Anhui, with convenient transport links.

The company was established in 2012 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Anhui Tianda Enterprise (Group) Co., Ltd., one of China's top 500 private manufacturing enterprises. It specialises in the manufacture of new chemical materials, with a focus on the continuous development and innovation of high-end polypropylene.

The company operates two polypropylene plants using the SPP liquid-phase bulk plus gas-phase bulk process, with a total capacity of 350,000 tonnes per year. Supporting facilities include 30,000 m² of packaging workshops and warehouses, eight 2,000 m³ and four 1,000 m³ propylene spheres, and four ethylene and crude propylene tank groups.

The main products are polypropylene powder, thin-wall injection molding grades, transparent grades and pipe compound. They are characterised by low odour, non-toxicity, low ash content and stable performance.

Grades are grouped by end application: homopolymer granules for drawing, injection and general purpose at MFR 3 to 70.5 g/10min; thin-wall injection molding for disposable food packaging at MFR 60 to 100 g/10min; transparent random copolymer for food contact and medical use at MFR 8 to 35 g/10min; PP-R pipe compound for hot and cold water systems; coating grade for paper-plastic lamination; and polypropylene powder covering MFR 0.10 to 80 g/10min in two series for raffia, fibre, non-woven and compounding.

Third-party testing is carried out by SGS, CTI, Shanghai Jianke and the Shanghai Institute of Medical Device Testing. A certificate of analysis is issued for every lot, and full test reports and SDS are available on request.

The transparent random copolymer range is tested to YY/T 0242-2007, covering cytotoxicity, haemolysis, acute systemic toxicity, intracutaneous reactivity, skin sensitization and pyrogen, and is also tested for RoHS, phthalates, HBCDD and n-hexane extract.

Granules are supplied in 25 kg FFS heavy-duty film bags with jumbo bags of 825 kg available; powder in 25 kg coated woven bags. Store at room temperature, do not stack outdoors, and protect from direct sunlight and rain during transport.

Polypropylene is chosen for the balance it gives between stiffness, heat resistance and processing speed. Tianda grades are supplied into four main application areas: thin-wall food packaging; transparent containers and medical devices; PP-R pipes, sheet and industrial lines; and woven, fibre and non-woven products.

Transport. Protect from direct sunlight and rain, and do not transport together with hard objects, metals, oil, or flammable and explosive materials.
